Hey everyone! The end of 2019 is near and that means it’s a good time for a little review and a look back at the past year and all of the projects that I created in 2019.
For this occasion, Altenew* is hosting a bloghop where each person on the hop shares their personal favorite Altenew projects of this past year. So you are in for some serious eye candy! 🙂 If you came from Laura’s blog, then you are right on track. And if you get lost, just check out the blog hop list on the Altenew Card blog.
The collage above shows my four favourite projects and just like last year’s Top 4, this one again features lots of florals, white space, and pops of pink and black. I don’t think I will ever get tired of this look! 😉
So, here’s my list of favourite Altenew projects in 2019:
1. “You are Family” Layout
My favourite layout I’ve made this past year with Altenew products is this one. I just love the combination of the soft pink with the black and white and those vibrant pops of green of the Botanical Rhapsody and Misty Meadows washi tapes.
You can find out more about this project (and all the products I used) HERE.
2. Floral Cards with Washi Tapes
The cards that I’ve made for that same blog hop are also amongst my favorite Altenew projects of 2019! I had so much fun working with those washi tapes!
3. Stamped & Die-cut Floral Cards
I created this set of cards for the Altenew IG Hop this year and used two of my favourite floral stamp sets: Beautiful Day and Coral Charm. Both are stunning layering sets and work perfectly with the Botanical Rhapsody washi tape!
For the background I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die. I love the very subtle texture this adds to any card base!
4. “Smile” Layout
And another favourite layout of 2019! This one was made for the May Release Blog Hop and it (unsurprisingly) features lots of florals again.
I combined quite a few different stamps, and once again the Botanical Rhapsody washi tape. For a full list of supplies, check the blogpost HERE.
5. More Floral Cards!
Because you can never have enough of those, right?! For this one I used the Grateful Heart set and combined it with the Candy Cane Cover Die and the Tall Alpha Die Set.
For more details on this card and the other ones I shared for that release, check out THIS blogpost.
6. “So Happy” Layout
This is another layout that made it into my Top list this year. I loved playing with the Build-a-Flower Dahlia set because dahlias are some of my most favourite flowers!
You can find more information on this layout HERE.
7. Minimal Cards with Watercolour Brush Markers
This card set actually features a different colour scheme than all the projects I’ve shared so far but I am still absolutely in love with it!! The blues and greens in the Winter Wonderland Watercolor Brush Markers set were just too good to pass up!
You can find more details on these cards HERE.
Well, as you can probably see, all of my projects have these things in common: florals + white space. It’s just a recipe that always works for me. Besides, the Altenew stamps and dies make it so very easy! It’s absolutely no secret that their floral-themed products are my absolute favourites!
Thanks a lot for stopping by today! I hope that some of these projects inspire you to get creative with your Altenew products!
Now make sure to continue the hop on Zinia’s wonderful blog! 🙂
