Hey there everyone, it’s Kathleen with you today with another layout featuring the beautiful new Heritage collection and the new Maggie Holmes Sticker Book.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure to do so – it’s filled with so many great stickers! From florals to labels and alphabet stickers, some as clear stickers, some with gold foil. There’s something in there for everyone!
Today’s layout is relatively simple and quick to make. The only thing that’s a bit more time consuming, is fussy cutting some florals from the Perennial and leaves from the Margaret papers.
For the base of my layout I used the backside of the Margaret paper. I felt like the off-white fit the rest of the elements on my page better than a bright white background.
I then created a cluster with the fussy cut flowers and leaves, and also mixed in some other elements like the silhouette from the chipboard stickers, a gold glitter butterfly and two of the photo frames from the Cards and Envelopes Stationary Pack.
The larger frame came in handy to slide in my photo, as well as a little tag with some hidden journaling. I used one of the labels from the cardstock stickers to create a little pull tag on the label. That way you can see there’s something behind the photo.
Different uses for the sticker book
When I was flipping through the new Maggie Holmes Sticker Book, I found this whole page of phrase stickers. I noticed that the phrases are repeated on the second half of the page. I knew I would never use them up individually. So I decided to cut half of the page off and use it as a design element on this page.
The black and white butterfly is also from the same sticker book but was actually a clear sticker. I just stuck it to some white cardstock and fussy cut it out so I could use it as a die cut piece.
For the title I mixed the golden and black foam alpha thickers again. They just look so good together and they have the perfect size, especially for longer titles!
Finally, I added in some more black and white clear stickers from the Heritage sticker book and some paint splatters in gold and mint. I’m very happy that I was able to use so many different stickers on this page!
I hope you enjoyed this layout and find some ideas to get you started creating! Thanks for stopping by! Xo, Kathleen
