Hey there and welcome to the The Stamp Market* Color Crush Blog Hop!! I am so excited that I get to join in on the fun celebrating the new release of one of my favorite companies in the scrapbooking/cardmaking world!
If you haven’t seen it yet, you can now get thirteen ink pads in the fantastic The Stamp Market colors, as well as coordinating re-inkers, cardstock in 8.5″x11″ and enamel dots!
By the way, you should have arrived from Laura’s blog. You can also find the full blog hop list at the end of this post.
Apart from that, the new release also includes gorgeous stamps and dies (as usual!!) as well as a collection of patterned papers (say WHAT?!)! Make sure to check them all out HERE.
Color Crush Cardstock
For the cards below I mainly focused on the new Color Crush cardstock and different ways to use it. I chose the Big Hi die for all four cards and tried to get different looks with it.
For each polka dot card I die cut the “hi” from five different colors of cardstock and then adhered them together, slightly shifting each layer to reveal the layers behind. That’s a look I saw first on the The Stamp Market IG and loved it!
For the rainbow “hi” card I simply adhered cardstock strips of different sizes to a sheet of white cardstock and then die cut the word from that.
It’s no secret that I love shaker cards! Usually I fill them with sequins and glitter, but this time I thought I’d try something else. I wanted to make the most out of the cardstock scraps I had left from die cutting all the “hi” so I used a confetti punch to make my own confetti.
Color Crush Dye Inks
I thought I would also show you the cards I made with the new dye inks (btw, they are fabulous!) that I already shared on Instagram. The inks all coordinate perfectly and they also work great for layering stamps!
The flowers and leaves I used for the wreath and to embellish the “hi” are from the Joyful Blooms stamp set. Depending on what colors you use for the images you can make them fit any season!
For the backgrounds and the “hi” I used the Dotted, Marbled and Jumbo Plaid background stamps with the new Color Crush inks.
That’s it from me today. I hope you enjoyed my projects! Thanks a lot for stopping by! Now make sure to hop on over to Wanda’s blog for even more Color Crush inspiration!
