Pinkfresh Studio | Office Hours & Home for the Holidays Layouts
Can you believe it’s already October?! I know everyone says “time flies” but this year really did fly past.. I’m actually even sharing my first Christmas-themed project of the year with you today!
A new month also means a new Pinkfresh Studio challenge and this time it’s all about circles and beautiful fall colors. So, here’s my interpretation of the challenge.
Coffee Break Layout
I mostly used Office Hours for this layout but also mixed in a few bits from Just a Little Lovely, as well as that gorgeous eucalyptus wreath. I just love the Eucalyptus Fantasy washi tape and that there are coordinating dies to cut out the individual sprigs and the wreath – so easy!!
You can find more information and details about both of today’s projects over on the Pinkfresh Studio blog.
Deck the Halls Layout
And now.. my first Christmas-themed layout of this season, using the new Pinkfresh Studio Home for the Holidays collection and an exclusive cut file.
I used the Merry and Bright paper to back the leaves and the Home for the Holidays paper for the berries. I have to admit that I’m not the most patient person in the world, so backing cutfiles isn’t my favorite thing to do. However, easy shapes like these are okay and don’t take as much time as very intricate designs.
At first, I tried a white background but felt like the wreath didn’t really stand out. I didn’t find a paper in the Home for the Holidays collection that I liked for this, but the Busy paper from Office Hours finally did the trick!
I kept the rest of the layout fairly simple and only mixed in some Ephemera pieces, as well as a few Cardstock and Puffy Stickers. Oh, and some Enamel Dots that I sprinkled around the wreath.
For the title I used a mix of alphabet stickers: the white ones are from Home for the Holidays, the coral ones from Indigo Hills 2 and the dark blue were from The Mix No. 2 from quite a while ago 😉
I hope you liked those two layouts! Don’t forget to check out the information for the October challenge – you can win a $50 gift card to the Pinkfresh Studio store!
Thanks a lot for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
